Yezgra Constructions is a family business owned by Vito and his daughter, Natalija Pantelic, together they have worked side by side to grow the company over 30 years. The company Yezgra was named after the Pantelic’s ancestor clan “Yezgrinse” that dates back over 500 years in Sumadija, Serbia. The meaning of the word “Yezgra’ is the robust structure of a walnut’s core. The core (Yezgra) is the first area of the walnut to grow, which creates the perfect environment and durable structure for the rest of the walnut to build and develop. Over generations, the word was used as a mantra for the family to inspire strength and resilience to overcome hardships during multiple wars and trying times in Serbia. To date, Yezgra not only represents the Pantelic family but also at their core, the company’s mission to uphold value, loyalty and to deliver durable and well-structured projects to all their clients.
Natalija Pantelic, Managing Director, is proud to be an advocate for Women in Construction– she has been featured on Channel 9, Fresh 92.7 and Master Builders Association for her achievements in the industry. Natalija started in her early 20s and as she developed on-site skills, she became interested in the business side of things and wanted to strategically help the company expand into other facets of construction. Together Vito and Natalija developed the commercial, residential and industrial facets of concrete, civil works, earth moving, and demolition.
